Artist at Play is an amazing playground in the heart of Seattle. It’s located near MoPOP and Seattle Center Armory, making it a great spot for photos and explorations. The playground has so much to offer for both kids and adults, including a 30-foot climbing tower, a human-powered ADA-accessible carousel, listening stations, and child-inspired musical instruments. The play mounds and sound swings were also an excellent addition! One of the best things about this playground is that it offers diversity and inclusivity with its accessible features. However, what I loved the most about the place was seeing the kids running around, laughing, and having a great time. To top it off, there are conveniently located bathrooms and food options inside the armory building. Overall, Artist at Play is a must-visit for anyone who wants to have some fun and let their imagination run wild.
While you’re there, Seattle Center offers many other family fun activities to enjoy including the Space Needle, Seattle Children’s Museum, MoPop, International Fountain, “Artists at Play” Playground, and The Armory for a bite to eat.
