The Evergreen State Fair, located in Monroe, Washington, is a twelve-day fair held each year from late August through Labor Day. Running since 1949, the Evergreen Fair is the largest county fair in the Pacific Northwest and the largest single attraction held annually in Snohomish County.Â

When: The fair is scheduled for August 24th-29th; and August 31st-September 4th, 2023.
Time: The fair hours are 10:30am-10pm every day (closes at 7 p.m. on the last day, September 4th).Â

For new visitors, there are multiple tickets to purchase, a gate admission to enter the fair, and additional tickets for games and rides. Consider the unlimited wrist band if your kids love rides!

Parking: Weekday $10. Weekend $15. Disabled parking is located closest to the entrances in all fairground parking lots. There are three main parking lots here at the Evergreen fair, yellow, blue, and red parking lots. Check out their map here.

Food: There are plenty of fair food choices at a range of prices.
Carnival rides guide: Review the important ride information (ride and height restrictions, rules, and carnival hours). They list out each ride and height requirements on their site, the minimum height starts at 36″ for their toddler rides. Measure your child, if they are shorter then 36″, they will unfortunately not be able to ride any rides at the Evergreen State Fair Carnival.
Fireworks Show:Â There are two fireworks shows at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. One to start off the fair on opening night (August 24th at 9pm), this show is included with your paid fair admission. The last show, marking the end of the fair, is on September 3rd after the Demo Derby show, this is a paid show. Located at the Racetrack / Grandstands.Â
