Lincoln Rock State Park is one of our family’s top picks. This park is right next to the Columbia River with beautiful views and very clean restrooms and showers. It is also located close to Wenatchee City in case you forget any supplies (we forgot to bring chairs!). The park is very large with nicely manicured lawns, shady trees, plenty of space between campers, and is close to the water. Reserve early, especially if you want one of their deluxe cabins (which we highly recommend!).
There is a nice small beach for kids to swim, kayak, or paddle board. The kids also enjoyed the small playground and the trails to bike, walk, or run.
The deluxe cabin at Lincoln Rock State Park is a great option if tent camping isn’t your thing (yet). There are a few different cabin types with amenities including a queen-sized futon, heater/air conditioning, bunk beds, kitchenette, mini refrigerator, microwave, bathroom with showers, outdoor fire pit, and barbecue brazier.
