On our most recent family getaway, we chose a condo through Vrbo at Suncadia, especially since we were bringing the grandparents along. We found a charming two-bedroom condo at Suncadia Trailhead that exceeded all our expectations. The highlight for our little one was the master bathroom’s exquisite Japanese soaking tub. We even brought our own Japanese soaking salts to make the experience extra luxurious. Next time, we’re excited to try out the kids’ nighttime “sleep soak” bath salts!

Our time at the Suncadia Trailhead Condo was incredibly special and memorable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Trailhead I Building: If you’re looking for a cozy mountain condo, Trailhead I is the place to be. With options for one or two bedrooms, you’re sure to find the perfect fit for your family. Multiple bedding options ensure everyone will be comfortable, including the grandparents! The living area, full kitchen, separate dining area, and washer/dryer make for a comfortable stay that feels like home. Plus, staying here means you’ll have access to all the amazing resort amenities, including pools. We had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to come back to Suncadia again soon!

Through Sept. 5, the Village Pavilion rents boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and stand-up paddle boards seven days a week. The lake is stocked with trout, so your little fisherman can cast a line from the shores or dock and feed the resident ducks. Rental fees range from $20 to $27, depending on the equipment.
2. Cozy Pool Fun at Swim & Fitness Suncadia Pools
The Swim & Fitness Center caters to families looking to splash around any time of the year. Its outdoor pool is a cozy retreat even in winter, heated to a warm 90 degrees. The indoor pool, meanwhile, is perfect for those eager for swimming lessons, laps, or a thrilling slide down the water slides.

It’s the perfect spot for endless hours of laughter and joy. Access is available to club members with a valid ID card and resort guests with a valid wristband.
But the fun doesn’t stop at the pools! Nelson Farm offers a variety of kid-friendly activities, including axe throwing, a bounce house, and tie-dye sessions. The excitement at Nelson Farm is truly endless!
4. Hiking and Biking: Fun for the Whole Family
Get ready to explore the great outdoors at Suncadia! With over 10 miles of paved paths and countless scenic trails, there’s plenty to keep your family moving. Enjoy stunning views and lush surroundings as you hike or bike through Suncadia’s beautiful forests and hills.
One must-do is conquering the 1000 Steps. Learn about the local wildlife and take in breathtaking views as you descend to the river and back. Once you complete the hike, you can choose a complimentary badge from the concierge to commemorate your adventure.
