Description

Looking for some fun in the sun? The International Fountain at Seattle Center is the perfect place to cool down during hot summer days! Kids of all ages can have a blast spraying water and running around the fountain. Worried about water quality? Don’t be! The water is all recycled and treated with three types of treatment before it ever reaches the public. Plus, after a three-month renovation, the fountain re-opened in July 2021 with updated LED lighting, new water jets, and upgraded technology and electricity.

Originally designed to reflect outer space exploration, the fountain has gone through a few changes over the years, but still remains a beloved fixture of Seattle’s community. And don’t forget – the fountain runs all year round, with five different water programs that are synchronized to music. So grab your swimsuit and come join the fun at International Fountain!
