Juanita Beach Park is an amazing, family-friendly destination that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Children of all ages will have fun at the newly designed all-abilities playground, which is both safe and exciting. For sports enthusiasts, the park offers sand volleyball courts, ballfields, and tennis courts.

During summer, the park offers the perfect setting for a day of swimming and sandcastle building, while the wide and stroller-friendly walking path is perfect for those seeking a relaxing stroll.

There are also many areas suitable for picnics, including a covered picnic area. With clean and new bathrooms, visitors will have everything they need for a comfortable visit.

Additionally, the park has a rich history that can be explored through interpretive signs located throughout the area. Fun fact, since the 1900s, Juanita Beach Park has been a popular summer destination!

Parking is available in two lots with enough space for up to 200 vehicles.

It’s important to mention that dogs must be on a leash at all times unless they are in the designated Off-Leash Area. So grab your family and furry friends and head on down to Juanita Beach Park for an unforgettable day!

Note to Self

This park has a new playground that opened in December 2020 and a sandy beach.
The Juanita Beach Park is near the Juanita Bay Park, but not connected. You need to walk on the street to reach one from the other.
Watch for signs warning of contaminated water before entering the water.
The wild ducks are not afraid of humans.
Lots of parking spaces and several picnic tables.
There are also trash cans, mutt mitts, and restrooms (porta potties in the winter).
Ice pops are available at the beach store near the restrooms.
Dog friendly park.
You can rent paddle boards and kayaks at this park.
