Looking for some fun and relaxation in Bellevue? Look no further than Newcastle Beach Park! This park has something for everyone, from a beautiful sandy beach to a nature trail perfect for strolling. Even your little ones will love the colorful play area with swings, slides, and challenging climbing structures. And if you’re looking for a picnic, there are three areas available for reservation, including one with a shelter and BBQ. We had an absolute blast playing wave tag on the beach, building sandcastles, and hanging out under the shade of the picnic tables. Just remember to pack some mosquito repellent, as those little guys can be pesky. Don’t let a little bit of goose poop deter you from a great day out at this fantastic park – we highly recommend it!
If you’re a fan of bike-riding, their parking lot provides easy access to the King County Eastside Rail Corridor – perfect for a scenic ride! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s plan an adventure you won’t soon forget!
Note to Self
- The bathrooms are clean!
- There is a sign that says, "High Crime Area" (Lock your cars and hide your personal items).
- Remember to bring bug spray on warm evenings (mosquitos).
- Watch out for duck poop.
- Lifeguard is on duty from June to September.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Bring your own paddle board or kayak, unfortunately no rentals here.
